Qinyu Qiao Partner
Dr. Qinyu Qiao serves as a Partner at GSR Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage investments in AI-related hardware and software applications as well as frontier technologies. Prior to joining GSR Ventures, Dr. Qiao was a Game Design Expert and CEO Business Assistant at Thunderfire Game Studio. Before that, he did investment at Hongshan Capital China, concentrating on frontier technologies, and served as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company.
Dr. Qiao holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Economics, all from Tsinghua University. He has published over ten academic papers, and has received numerous honors, including an ESI Highest Cited Paper, Belfer Center Year in Review Publication Highlight at Harvard Kennedy School, and the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation (First Place). He was also a Research Fellow and Associate at Harvard Kennedy School.
