Jim Zhang Partner
Jim Zhang is a Partner at GSR Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments in AI applications, embodied intelligence, and smart hardware. Prior to GSR Ventures, Jim served in Corporate Development at ByteDance, where he led strategic investments and initiatives across AI, robotics, and gaming. Previously, Jim was with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, focusing on growth-stage and M&A investments, where he participated in multiple investment and exit transactions. He also worked at Primavera Capital, covering growth-stage investments in the TMT sector. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
